The Jackson Hole Cowboy Jubilee is a Wyoming 501(c) 3 corporation dedicated to fulfilling its unique mission: "To keep alive the history and heart of cowboy lore and ranching traditions in the Jackson Hole region through education, live music and poetry performances." Current board members include: Clair Carlson, Dave and Kathy McCann, Mike Calabrese, Jacki DeBevec, and directors Barbara Hauge and Jody Beckett.

JON CHANDLER

Jon Chandler writes songs and stories about his Western heritage. His rich voice and tasteful guitar work keep Jon at the top of Western artists. As a seventh-generation Colorado native, his novels, songs, and poems serve to keep alive the West's frontier ethic. His composition, The Road That Leads To Yellowstone, is a musical memoir of his many boyhood fishing trips to the area with his father, grandfather, and uncle. It was deemed the winner of the Western Folklife Center's contest in 2008, and Jon was awarded a Gibson Songwriter Deluxe guitar at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson. This song is included on the new Cowboy Jubilee CD project mentioned above. As a 30-year member of the legendary 'Hole in the Wall Gang,' Jon enjoys his annual backcountry riding experiences in the hills near Kaycee, WY, and draws inspiration from these trips. His Keepers of the Flame video served as the focal point of a nationwide conservation education program administered by the Department of Agriculture. Jon was recently named Best Living Western Musician of 2009 by True West Magazine. His is the voice of the Historic Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, WY, as well as the Historic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, CO, the namesake of his latest CD release. Jon will be accompanied by his top-tier sidemen, The Wichitones, with Ernie Martinez on lead guitar and mandolin and Jeff Graves on bass. www.jonchandler.com

DIANE TRIBITT

Diane Tribitt is a rancher and cowboy poet from Minnestoa, and the current Poet Lariat Laureate at cowboypoetry.com. Working side-by-side with her fiancé and children, she runs a 650-head cow/calf operation as well as a grain-bin construction crew. If anybody knows firsthand that cowboying is not only about surviving the droughts, blizzards, diseases, and floods, it's Diane. As the Sr. Executive Editor of the International Magazine of Cowgirls (I.M. Cowgirl)--a publication that focuses on recognizing Western women of the past, present, and future--she writes about the great love and respect she has for the working cowhand, bringing their trials, tribulations, humor, and rewards to life. Diane has performed at Western festivals all across America and has numerous awards to her credit, including 2007 NAPEW "Woman of the Year" in Agricultural Construction and Ranching and 2008 AWA Cowgirl Poet of the Year. www.dianetribitt.com

SOURDOUGH SLIM

Sourdough Slim is a well-traveled veteran of stages ranging from The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering to The Lincoln Center's Roots of American Music Festival and the Carnegie Hall Folk Festival. He spent much of his childhood on a family cattle ranch in the Sierra foothills but, as he explains, "my true calling as a cowboy was not on the range but, rather, on the stage." Audiences step back in time with his authentic vaudeville-style cowboy show in the Will Rogers tradition. Slim lays down a fast-paced stage performance combining cowboy singing, award-winning yodeling, timeless humor, accompaniment on accordion, guitar, ukulele and harmonica, and a keen knowledge of the traditional Western repertoire. His seasoned gift for connecting with audiences is a true testament to the irrepressible talent and dedication of this unique entertainer. www.sourdoughslim.com
